Mammoth sponsors at the RPA Rugby Open

As part of Mammoth’s role as official benefits providers to the Rugby Players Association, we were delighted to once again sponsor the Longest Drive competition at the 2016 RPA Rugby Open held on the 25^th May at Stoke Park Golf and Country Club. 

This annual competition sees current and former professionals all vying to win the illustrious tournament. This year saw 64 keen golfers take part including the likes of Trevor Woodman, Shaun Perry, Kenny Logan, Dean Ryan, Sean Maitland, Tom Williams, Terry Fanolua and Christian Day.

The Stoke Park course is ranked within the top 100 in the country and offers a stiff test to even the most proficient golfer. After navigating the 18 holes, the team competition was won by RPA Business Club member AFEX and Tom Williams. Sean Maitland was crowned the overall individual Player Champion, while the ‘Mammoth’ drive of the day was struck by Jamie Hunt of Team AFEX.
